Just a note to let you all know that Lazy May has moved to the following address http://www.lazymay.co.uk after some real struggles with my old hosting company I had no choice but to move it.

I really want to thank those who have commented and emailed, and to assure you that it is the same Lazy May and although the address is now .co.uk I am still shipping all over the world just like before.

As an apology for being away so long there is a special offer on worldwide shipping, it is FREE UNTIL THE 1St SEPTEMBER!! And there is a cute free PDF to download too, yay.

Techincal Problems with lazymay.com

You may have noticed that the lazymay,com site has been down for a couple of days, I am really sorry about this. My hosting/domain supplier is not responding to my queries so I am trying to get the domain transferred else where.

Unfortunately it also means that lazymay.com email address are not working either, if you are a regular customer and you know what you would like to order you can contact me on lisakateneal [at] gmail.com.

I am trying to get this sorted as quickly as possible so please watch this space…

Lazy May at Stitch and Craft 2010 (and our competition winner!)

Thanks for all those who visited our stand at the ‘Stitch and Craft 2010′ show, we had a fab, if exhausting, time meeting loads of enthusiastic stitchers and crafters!

It was so lovely to to meet exsisting and brand new customers, chat all things embroidery and to hear what people were planning to make with Lazy May patterns (my favourite being a lady who loved tea so much she was going to embroider tea cups onto a dress she was making)

We were taking suggestions for new patterns at the show and loads of ideas for new designs so watch this space

New personalised pattern!

Check out this brand new pattern available on the Lazy May site, it is super cute with lots of hearts, stars and love birds, but the best bit is that you can get it personalised, wow!!!!

The pattern is called the wedding but it could be great for anniversaries or other special dates. Simply type in two names and a date and a iron-on embroidery pattern will be made up just for you!

My friend recommended this book to me and I have just got it out from my library. I don’t know about you guys, butI don’t have a huge ammount of patience when it come to making things, my ideal project is one I can start and finish in the same day (or evening ideally!) so ‘Yeah, I made it myself’ by Eithne Farry is just perfect for me.

It is full of clothes to make that are really cool but also simple and quick, I particularly like the pattern for the dress you make and then customise by drawing on with biro, genius!!!

It is not a new book but I would really recommend it. Find it here on Amazon.
