Check out this brand new pattern available on the Lazy May site, it is super cute with lots of hearts, stars and love birds, but the best bit is that you can get it personalised, wow!!!!
The pattern is called the wedding but it could be great for anniversaries or other special dates. Simply type in two names and a date and a iron-on embroidery pattern will be made up just for you!

A great read: ‘Yeah, I made it myself!’
My friend recommended this book to me and I have just got it out from my library. I don’t know about you guys, butI don’t have a huge ammount of patience when it come to making things, my ideal project is one I can start and finish in the same day (or evening ideally!) so ‘Yeah, I made it myself’ by Eithne Farry is just perfect for me.

It is full of clothes to make that are really cool but also simple and quick, I particularly like the pattern for the dress you make and then customise by drawing on with biro, genius!!!
It is not a new book but I would really recommend it. Find it here on Amazon.

*New* fairy patterns and fairy bread
The is a cute new pattern over on www.lazymay.com, its called Magic fairy land and is full of magical fairy stuff, I have stitched these little softies from it
So to celebrate the launch of a new pattern a thought I would share this ‘recipe’ with you (I use the word recipe in its loosest possible form!). I cannot take the credit for the ‘recipe’ as it is from a Neighbours (Australian TV series that used to be very popular in England) annual I had as a girl in the 1980s! This fairy bread was the favourite breakfast of one of the characters Charlene (aka Kylie Minogue), and apparently what fairies eat all the time…
You will need
1 slice of bread, butter, some ‘hundreds and thousands’ and a star cutter
First butter the bread then cut a star shape out of it. Fill a plate with ‘hundreds and thousands’ and dip the bread in butter side down, shake off any excess and eat!
It will look like this

Umm tasty fairy bread
I shoud tell you that nothing about this recipe is good for you, enjoy!!
